This book was first recommended to me by a friend in upstate NY who's mother was named Thelma in honor of the beautiful and wonderful woman who is the subject of this book. The book describes the beauty and remoteness of the northern costal area of Norway, and the old Norse history combined with a British connection. It's a 500 page combination love story and Norse tradition. Beautiful read!
