Soup Supper and Lefse Making!
On Sunday, January 8, 2012 we held an instructional and edible meeting! A demonstration of making lefse was provided by Liz with many helping hands; then all members were invited to come up and make their own.
Members brought delicious Norwegian soups such as spinach soup, potato soup, meat and vegetable soups, turkey soup with dumplings as well as fruits, cheeses, and breads. Krumkake was also made and served to all for desert which was a nice treat.
Erik and his troupe entertained us with a comedy skit and song which everyone enjoyed!
There were new faces as well as current members so everyone took time to visit and introduce themselves.

Join us on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. for an instructional and edible meeting! We’ll make krumkake and lefse and enjoy Norwegian soups made by you!

- Spinich soup
- Meat and vegetable soup
- Fish soup
- Potato soup
- Turkey soup with dumplings
- Any other Norwegian soup you like to make
- Breads and butter
Erik will entertain us with a skit and song you are sure to enjoy!
(We could also use some assistance cleaning up after the meeting if you could stay for a few minutes)
