Norwegian Film Fest
Please come to our next meeting on February 12 when we will watch a Norwegian movie fit for family viewing (with subtitles). We will also have the installation of officers and a District 3 Officer is coming to do the honors. He suggests anyone with formal clothing, such as a bunad, wear it for the ceremony. It would be great to a have a good showing so please come.
Enjoy a Norwegian film with popcorn and the usual snacks!

The movie we are showing is "Sophie's World" which is described as an amusing story about a teenage girl who's father is away working overseas (oil tanker captain).
She discovers the study of philosophy and has adventures going back in time meeting important philosophical figures from history. It is thought provoking while being light and humorous. It is in Norwegian with English subtitles.
