Tracing Your Roots - Norwegian Genealogical Research
Part of understanding who you are is to understand your heritage. In this section, we will provide insights, searching tips, online resources and more in hopes that you and your family can discover and embrace your Norwegian roots.
We are fortune that one of our members, Paul Gjenvick, is the curator of the Gjenvick-Gjønvik Archives and has a number of original documents, photographs and other materials that cover immigration from the 1880s through 1954.
On a periodical basis, Paul will be publishing articles covering various documents pertaining to the Scandinavian migration to North America.
