Swedish Press - Nya Svenska Pressen

Swedish Press - Nya Svenska Pressen

The Swedish Press Magazine offers an enjoyable read every month with a variety of both short and longer articles on a wide variety of topics focused on Sweden and Swedish North America.

As North America's only Swedish monthly magazine -Swedish Press offers articles in both English and Swedish. They offer a free translation of the Swedish articles via email or SveMail that is perfect for the second, third and forth generation Swedish-Americans whose fluency in Swedish has diminished. Edited and printed in Vancouver on Canada's West Coast, it has brought Swedish and local news to readers all over the continent since 1929.

There have been thousands of Swedish papers in North America through the years but only two are still publishing. So the 80th anniversary of Swedish Press is really worth celebrating.
